The game was released under two different titles for two consoles such as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PS4. The game is played from a third-person perspective and retain the camera mode from the previous installment of the series. New game modes are introduced, including butt battle and beach volleyball. The game enables the player to choose his playable character from available and jump into the environment to compete against another team of two characters. The player needs to core the high points compared to opposing team to win and unlock further content using these points.
