Day of Infamy is a mixture of First-person Shooter, Action-packed Tactical, and Strategy elements developed and published by New World Interactive. The game takes place during the events of WWII set in European Theatre. The title serves as the standalone to the Day of Infamy mode, released for the previous installment named as Insurgency. It has two generic modes such as Co-op game modes and Online Team-based modes. There are different character classes available such as Support, Assault, Rifleman, Officer, Communications, Machinegunner, etc. from which the player needs pick up class and embarks on a mission to take down enemies. In Online mode, there are two team such as Allied and the Axis, battling against each other to dominate the battlefield while each team consists of 16 players. During the gameplay, the player uses a variety of weapons, kill enemies, collect power-ups while upgrading his weapons using his points.
