Dark Mist is an Action-Adventure, Shoot ‘em up, and Single-player video game developed by the Game Republic and published by SCEA for PlayStation 3. In the game, the player assumes the role of a warrior of light named Artemis, who must take down the forces of darkness. The game is split into different dungeons, and the player must hack and slash his way through challenging levels to kill enemies. The game comes with an overhead vantage point, making the game’s style similar to dungeon levels of the Legend of Zelda. The player starts the game with three stars of energy, which gradually replenished by gathering hearts. While exploring the world, the player can gather diamonds, hearts, keys, and crescent moons to boost his power. The game features the smooth controls which the player can use to perform a spinning attack that blows back foes and clear the dungeon. The player navigates the world from an isometric perspective, and the main quest is about taking down all enemies.
