Crystal Defenders
Crystal Defenders is the collection of two Tower-defense video games, developed and published by Square Enix. The video games uses the Ivalice’s setting and design different elements from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rif. It introduces the selection of playable characters Final Fantasy-based classes, and lets the player engage in unique tower-defense gameplay experience. All the titles in the series are revolved around Tower Defense games comprised multiple stages and each stage is played from a top-down perspective. All the stages offer thirty-one hordes of enemies that get into the area on the left side and explore the environment along the pathway toward the targets. The ultimate task of the player is to defend the crystals from foes by commanding his troops of different classes to take down the enemies. During the gameplay, troops can attack within the specific area around them, moving across the area to damage the enemies. Defense Grid: The Awakening is a Single-player, Tower-defense and Strategy video game created and published by Hidden Path Entertainment for multiple platforms. The game takes place in the fantastic world where you must defend your military bases from the alien invasion by placing a variety of tower-based weaponry. It offers an exciting story, which starts with the protagonist, who is re-activating the defense system with the help of a computer. The protagonist has limited resources to perform his experiment and the aliens, who are plans to steal the power cores. There are a set of levels and three different level difficulties. You as the protagonist must use your armies and a set towers to fend off the aliens by stealing the cores, proving the power to the defense grid. The game has fifteen different types of enemies and each has its unique strategies and capabilities. The game is played from an isometric perspective and you must show off your strategies while scoring the highest points. #2 Toy Soldiers: Cold War
Toy Soldiers: Cold War is an Action, Strategy, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Signal Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. The game acts as the sequel to Toy Soldiers and introduces the military technology of the 80s. It is focused on the idea of military aggression escalating between the USSR and the US. The game comes with a perfect mix of Third-person and Strategy gameplay elements, similar to the main game, but with improved gameplay mechanics and features. In the game, the player struggles to repel the Soviet invasion around a diorama towards a box in the bedroom of the child. Upon comparison with the first release, the game introduces diorama settings ranging from deserts to jungles to real-world locations, including the Great Pyramids and the street of Paris. There are boss levels also present with specific massive enemies, including Typhoon-class submarine. The player moves across the world from a third-person perspective, fight against enemies and take down them to become the master. With the detailed world, brilliant graphics, and cool features, Toy Soldiers: Cold War is the best game to play.
