Crystal Defenders
Crystal Defenders is the collection of two Tower-defense video games, developed and published by Square Enix. The video games uses the Ivalice’s setting and design different elements from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rif. It introduces the selection of playable characters Final Fantasy-based classes, and lets the player engage in unique tower-defense gameplay experience. All the titles in the series are revolved around Tower Defense games comprised multiple stages and each stage is played from a top-down perspective. All the stages offer thirty-one hordes of enemies that get into the area on the left side and explore the environment along the pathway toward the targets. The ultimate task of the player is to defend the crystals from foes by commanding his troops of different classes to take down the enemies. During the gameplay, troops can attack within the specific area around them, moving across the area to damage the enemies. Star Fox Guard is a Strategy, Tower Defense, and Single-player video game developed by N intend EPD. The game offers strategic gameplay, where the player must defend his various bases, owned by the uncle of Slippy Toads named as Gippy, from oncoming waves of enemies. The TV shows the footage from all the security cameras while the GamePad introduces an overhead view of the base. To protect the core of the base, the player must see the monitors carefully for any oncoming hordes of enemies and switch control to one of the working security cameras to fire its weapon. In the game, the foes are split into two classes such as Chaos Robots and Combat Robots. There are over 100 missions with increasing difficulty, and the game offers editor mode, enabling the player to edit enemies’ behaviour and share with friends.
