Crysis 2: Maximum Edition is an Action, FPS, Adventure, Atmospheric, Shooting, Open-world, Survival, Multiplayer, and Single-player video game developed by Crytek Studios. It is the second title of the Crysis series and offers the same gameplay as the first one with some advanced and enhanced features. During the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a protagonist and needs to control the Force Recon Marine named Alcatraz.

The game takes place in the city of New-York who is ruined by the aliens. At the start, the player finds some footages of the Manhattan Virus that cause heavy cellular destruction in the city. Due to the infection of an alien race, this problem comes under Martial Law, and as a soldier of the Force Recon Marine, the player needs to control the spreading virus and beats the aliens to rescue the city.

While exploring the world, the player can view the environment from a first-person perspective. The player can use stealth tactics to deceive the aliens and reattacks on them, use advanced weapons to kill, and explore new places to rescue. The character can use a nano suit that provides armor abilities, strength mode that enhances the character’s physical strength, and speed mode to run and act fast in the playfield.

The player can use traditional weapons, such as handguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, and snipers to get the aliens down. The game comes up with some core features, such as Advanced Weapons, Nine Additional Maps, Nanosuit, Stealth Approach, First-person View, and Multiplayer Mode.
