Crusaders of Might and Magic is an Action Role-playing and Single-player video game created and published by The 3DO Company. The game is played from a third-person view and story take place in the fictional universe of Might and Magic, upon the land of Ardon. According to the plot, the prologue depicts the burning of the town in the Lowlands by the Legion of Fallen. The army of undead people controlled by Necros has sold the soul of the dark lords in exchange for sorcerous aptitude. The player assumes the role of the protagonist named Drake, the survivor, escapes into the jungle in harsh condition and explore the environment of Ardon for years, looking revenge against the undead army. During the fight, the player is rescued by the blind hermit named Normandy, who becomes the mentor of Drake over the next few years. The player starts the game with no arms but can find a melee weapon and a shield. The game offers combat-oriented gameplay, though introduces an inventory system, letting the player select a variety of equipment to use in a fight.
