Crash Twinsanity is an Action-Adventure, Platform, and Single-player video game developed by Traveller’s Tale Oxford Studio. It serves as the eleventh title in the Crash Bandicoot series and offers a similar storyline to the past titles. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of an unknown protagonist, where the main goal is to stop the evil twins from ruining the world.
The game has a series of levels where each level offers several dark enemies and giant bosses. The player must collect extra gems scattered through each level to earn extra powers and upgrades. The protagonist equips cortex, a hammer that performs a spin attack and does huge damage in one turn.

The player can communicate with NPCs and fire the invaders through a third-person view.
The player equips a makeshift parachute that permits him to glide over columns of steam. The player can walk, jog, jump, cling to ledges, climb on walls, swing on ropes, and swim in the water. The game features four difficulty levels, such as Easy, Hard, Medium, and Nightmare.
The game also comes up with several puzzling challenges that a player has to complete for progression. The player can gain access to ten different weapons, where each one offers a unique firing ability.
