Crash Twinsanity is an Action-Adventure, Platform, and Single-player video game developed by Traveller’s Tale Oxford Studio. It serves as the eleventh title in the Crash Bandicoot series and offers a similar storyline to the past titles. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of an unknown protagonist, where the main goal is to stop the evil twins from ruining the world.
The game has a series of levels where each level offers several dark enemies and giant bosses. The player must collect extra gems scattered through each level to earn extra powers and upgrades. The protagonist equips cortex, a hammer that performs a spin attack and does huge damage in one turn.
The player has limited ammunition in certain regions of the game, for example, the Academy of Evil. The game has two main characters such as Crash and Nina, with strong equipped abilities and mechanical arms.

The storyline of the game follows the civil war between Mushroom Men in the world of human. The game starts with a comet crashes to the surface of the planet Earth, raining own strange dust. The dust proves harmless for humans and goes unnoticed, and they don’t notice the fungi, fauna, and flora, including mushrooms, kudzu, cacti, and more. The green dust mutated the human as well as animals. To survive, the conscious mushroom people need to form into a tribe, and battle against foreign forces. The story introduces the main character named Pax, who is alone bolete mushroom, struggling to find his homeland in the mushroom society. As the protagonist proceeds through the story, he finds out a lepiota known as Pester that tries to control the world. During the battle, the player can use a variety of weapons to take down enemies and complete the missions to unlock further content.
