Conquest of the New World is a Turn-based Strategy, Single-player and Multiplayer video game, created by Quicksilver Software and published by Interplay Productions. The game takes place in the year 1493 and it deals with the conquest and discovery of the Americas, where it involves one or more players either on LAN, or by hot seat. It offers the grid-based maps, where the player move his different pieces through the world to uncover the mountains, rivers, and plains. After navigating the local terrains, the player needs to create a colony and expand it further to the end of the game. During the gameplay, the player establish sawmills, housing, metal mines, and farms to create the resources and required space to expand his colony. In the game, the player needs to train his army with which to dominate the other colonist and enemies. There are six different nations available including Five European and the High Natives.
