Cold Fear is a Third-person Shooter, Survival Horror, and Single-player video game developed by Darkworks and published by Ubisoft for Multiple Platforms. The game mainly focuses on the protagonist named Tom Hansen, the member of the US Coast Guard, who comes to the help of the Russian whaler and discovers a strange but dangerous virus that has transformed the crew into zombie-like creatures. Finding the involvement of both the CIA and the Russian Mafia, the protagonist embarks on an epic mission to ensure the virus doesn’t reach land. The game is played from either an over-the-shoulder viewpoint or a third-person perspective on the preference of the player. The primary foes in the game are Russian Mercenaries and different kinds of zombies called Exos. The first half part of the game takes place on the whaler in the midst of a storm. During the game, the player uses a set of weapons to kill zombies and defend himself to avoid becoming a zombie. There are many challenging levels, and each level comes with a tough mission that the player needs to complete at any cost to ensure his survival.
