Code of Princess combines the Action Role-playing, Hack and Slash, Beat ‘em up, and Side-scroll elements developed by Studio Saizensen and published by Nintendo. The game takes place in the world, where humans and monsters are living together with peace. After enjoying the period of peace, the monsters attack the Kingdom to take over the world, and blame that royal family force them to do this. The player assumes the role of the female protagonist, named as Princess Solange, who sets out on an epic quest to find the reason behind the attack of monsters. The player has to explore the world from side-scroll perspective, fight against monsters to kill them, and earn experience points while avoiding the Distron Army.
