The game brings the player to the 2D environment where the player will experience the unique gameplay about climbing a mountain with easy to learn, but hard to master control. During the gameplay, the player can jump, swing, move, and use his grab and momentum the diverse rocks to assist him in ascending through the massive mountain. The game introduces two character named Nana and Popo, who ventures up thirty-two snowy mountains to retrieve the stolen vegetables from a massive condor. In the starting, the first player controls Popo, a boy equipped with a blue Eskimo Parka, while the 2nd player controls Nana, a girl wearing a pink one. There is only a tool that they can carry is a mallet to carve openings in the ice above. Each level of the game contains up to eight layers of colourful ice, as well as a bonus stage. There are many levels and the primary objective of the player in each level to reach the top at any cost while playing the game to become the master.
