Civilization 4: Colonization is a remake of the Turn-based Strategy video game Colonization developed in 1994. The game introduces four playable European Nations such as Netherlands, France, England, and Spain and it enables the player to select his favourite one and jump into the battle where the player must effort to dominate the new world in the period 1492-1792. The ultimate task of the player is to create his colony and recruit an army, then announce independence from his mother country and battle against military forces that the mighty king sends to take down the rebellion. To establish and expand the city, the player must balance negotiations with multiple groups such as colonist from the home country, natives of the Americas, other Colonist from across the land. During the plot, the player can assemble his army and command on the battlefield to take down enemies to score the points, loot resources and claim their lands to expand his colony or city. The game introduces the trade and economic system when the player makes finished sells and goods in Europe.
