Chrono Ark is an RPG, Adventure, Card, Anime, and Single-player video game developed by Al Fine. During the gameplay, the player adopts the role of a female protagonist named Luca, and his main task is to rescue the planet from the chaos and can recruit and train the unique investigators to regain the lost charm of the world. The player can appoint up to four members in the team and must follow teamwork to achieve the mission.

All the abilities of members will appear in the cards during the combat, and the player needs to defeat the enemies by using the card strategies. Like other RPG games, the character will lose all the collected items and restart the game again with the default sorts, but as the player gets to advance, he can discover more collectibles throughout the game.

The game offers multiple characters, such as Lian that equips a sword and passive skills, Azar that occupies advanced copes and a hollowed sword, Miss Chain who can cut anything into two halves, and Joey, who owns chemist skills and research the strange happenings. Two difficulty modes are available for the player, such as Normal and Expert mode that satisfies the difficulties of the gameplay.

The map at the top right corner of the screen will provide the current location of the character and will show the danger zone in red color. The game has core features, such as Dungeon Crawling, Map Provision, Several Characters, Different Swords, and Strategy-based Gameplay.
