The game sets you up as a Warrior named Mononofu, a specialized Ninja like Warrior and the ultimate weapon against the Hellish Demons known as Oni. Just like Monster Hunter, Lord of Arcana etc. your task is to fight of the Demons, slay them and craft weapons and other items with their horns and bones etc. Toukiden: The Age of Demons offers a really unique combat system and mostly features melee combats and forces you into amazing head on rivalries. With superbly written storyline, well balanced mechanics, super cool visuals and an immersive game-play, Tokiden: The Age of Demons is a wonderful alternative to Monster Hunter.

The protagonist encounters his mother who claims that his brother is alive. The protagonist then set out himself on an epic adventure against brutal enemies to save his brother. The game offers the similar gameplay to its previous entries and centers on combo-based combat. Kratos equips with his primary weapons such as the Blades of Athena and secondary weapons like a sword. It combines the elements of Platform and puzzle elements.
