In the game, the player needs to battle against spiders, fleas, centipedes, and scorpions, while struggling to complete a variety of round after removing the enemies that winds down the screen. The player commands the elf-like creature and can move in right and left direction. There are several levels, and each level has a set of enemies that the player needs to defeat at any cost while playing the game. The enemies move from upward to downward if they reach to the bottom of the screen, the game will end, and the player needs to start the level again. Shooting any section of the enemy creates a mushroom which the player uses to enhance his abilities, and if the player shoot the middle segment of the centipede, it divided it into two pieces. With superb gameplay, good mechanics, and old-school graphics, Centipede is the best game to play and enjoy.

The player shoots bug spray at both insects and Donkey Kong in each level to score the points and save his flowers. With good mechanics, brilliant graphics and simple objectives, Donkey Kong 3 is the good game to play.
