Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies is a First-person Shooter, Survival-Horror, and Single-player video game developed by Ideaworks Game Studio and published by Activision Publishing, Inc. The game takes place in the stunning world overrun by bloodthirsty zombies. It was released for mobile device iOS, and the gameplay is based on mini-game from the console and PC release, Call of Duty: World at War. The player takes on the role of the US soldier who discovers himself in the abandoned house amid a wasteland. As the game starts, the zombies begin to cover the land where the player is available, and now the player needs to struggle to stay alive as long as possible. During the gameplay, the player makes points from slaughtering zombies and can spend these points on purchasing new weapons and unlock new areas to explore. The game follows the traditional FPS gameplay, and it comes with three different control types such as a dual stick, a touch screen, and accelerometer input. It has co-op mode that supports up to four players and let them play over a wireless network.

The game reveals the meddling of the Umbrella Corporation over the course of the series through the narration from Albert Wesker, who is an ex-scientist of Umbrella and buried vital documents containing secret actions and motives of the organization. In the game, the player will follow the pre-set paths to shoot enemies and pick up optional weapons and items related to health. The player explores the land from a third-person view, and his main objective is to make points and use them to unlock further weaponry. There are several challenging missions, and the player needs to complete each one to survive longer.
