The game introduces two character named Nana and Popo, who ventures up thirty-two snowy mountains to retrieve the stolen vegetables from a massive condor. In the starting, the first player controls Popo, a boy equipped with a blue Eskimo Parka, while the 2nd player controls Nana, a girl wearing a pink one. There is only a tool that they can carry is a mallet to carve openings in the ice above. Each level of the game contains up to eight layers of colourful ice, as well as a bonus stage.
