Bookworm is a Word, Puzzle, and Single-player video game developed and published by PopCap Games for the Browser. The game mainly focuses on word-forming gameplay and lets the player to connect letters to form as many words as possible to score the points. The form word will remove from the grid and the remaining letters collapse to fill the space. The game rewards the player with more points for creating longer words or word which uses less letters and rewards with less points for smaller words. The gameplay requires the player to find and match adjacent letters to form the words. There are different tile colors available such as Red Burning Tiles, Green Tiles, Sapphire Tiles, Gold Tiles, and Diamond Tiles. It has two different modes such as Action and Classic.
