It is the first title in the series of Battletoads and was released in 1991. The story centers on three space mutant warriors such as Battletoads, Zitz, and Rash, who are on a mission to take down an antagonist who is an evil dark queen on her planet and save their kidnapped fellows such as Princess Angelica and Pimple. The game combines the elements of Racing, Vehicular based combat, and climbing. The player starts the game with three lives, and his primary goal is to explore the world, fight against minions, and reach the end of each level to complete it. Other levels of the game will be unlocked as the player progresses. It has a variety of levels, and each level needs a completion of certain goals.
