Batman Returns is an Action, Platform, and Single-player video game with Vehicular Combat elements, offered by Aspect and published by Sega. The game is based on the movie of the same name and available to play on different platforms. In the start, the game takes the player through seven challenging scenes featured in the movie. According to the storyline, various members of the Red Triangle Circus will try to attack Batman throughout the game. In the game, the superhero has a set of weapons and moves at his disposal and can be used when need. There are many levels, and each level will end with a boss fight, which needs a bit of effort and strategy to dominate. Several levels are set in a 2D environment where the game permits the player to move freely. However, the fifth level comprises driving the Batmobile in a chase case where the player must chase an enemy and a van equipped with heavy weapons from the gang. The player is allowed to use the machine gun to take down the targets.

According to the story, a vicious evil is intent on dominating the world and using the time machine he is conquering every event in history. There are two protagonists from which the player can control his favorite one to fend off the evil by spreading chaos.

In solo mode, the player has to fight in the streets alone, whereas the multiplayer mode allows the player to assemble a team of four characters where team-work is very important and dominant. In the battle mode, the player can challenge his friend to see the best street fighter
