Bakugan: Defenders of the Core is an Action, Battling, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game developed by NOW Productions. Throughout the gameplay, the player serves as a hero, where the main mission is to rescue the Earth from the antagonists such as Zenoheld, Spectra, and Vexos.
It offers a head to head battles where the player has to win. The game features three playable modes such as Battle Mode, Story Mode, and Free for Play Mode. In the story mode, the player explores every corner of the city using a stealth approach and has to collect fragments.
Each player has a Bakugan, which serves as the player’s tool that will help the player in taking down the rivals. The game somewhat revolves around the Robotech continuum with a story based on new characters established for the game and with some guest appearance of the main characters, including Roy Fokker, Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes, and more. The storyline follows the exploits of the ace pilot named Jack Archer. However, after serving his duty as the mercenary in the Civil War, the player flying both with and against Roy Fokker to impress him enough to recommend him for the RDF. In the early stages, the game covers the final training of the protagonist and his fighting during the Battle of Macross Island. In the game, the player navigates the environment from a third-person perspective, and his main objective is to take down enemies to make points use to upgrade weapons and other equipment to improve the performance.
