Aveyond
Aveyond is a series of Role-playing video games developed and published by Aveyond Studios. Each game supports single-player and takes place in the fantasy environment populated by non-player characters. The first title in the series, Ahriman’s Prophecy, was released in the year 2004 and the latest title was released in 2017, Aveyond: Shadow of the Mist. In the fantasy world, the player controls the main character who must struggle to rescue the planet Earth from being smashed by evils, through several side quests. There are up to eight titles available in the series, firs two titles offer full games to play and while others appeared in chapters and the free prequel. The game borrows some elements from Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior for its epic gameplay, and it offers similar gameplay to that of JRPGs. Unlike the other titles in the series, the first release wasn’t developed with RPG Maker XP and instead was published with RPG Maker 2003.
#1 Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is a 4th entry in the series of Dragon Quest developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix. The gameplay is a mix of Strategy, Turn-based Combat, and Role-playing elements and supports Single-player mode only. The game differed from its previous entries and divided into five different chapters, each with different protagonists. The first four chapters are told from the companions’ perspective and the last one from the perspective of hero and combine all characters together. It features day and night cycles and takes place in the fantasy-based world. The player can assume the role of the protagonist, and he can navigate the world to fulfill his goals on foot or by flying vehicles. Explore the world, fight against enemies, and slaughter them to earn experience points. Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen offers prominent features such as addictive mechanics, brilliant gameplay, and well-written story. Try it out, and you’ll enjoy it.
