Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny is a Role-playing and Single-player video game created by Gust Co., Ltd and published by Koei for PlayStation 2. The game serves as the sequel to Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana, and it comes with some modifications and new content to explore. Viese and Felt are the main characters of the game. However, Viese becomes an alchemist and when she discovers Felt at a Belkhyde gate, together both characters visit the forest so Viese can make a pact with a spirit. During the journey, they find the Azure Azoth, a sword, and Felt successfully pulled it out. After that, a voice appears telling him they must embark on a journey because Eden is turmoil. The combat system of the game comes with several improvements from its previous title and out of the battle gameplay, it is less complicated, and the invention and alchemy system were merged. In the game, the battles are fought primarily in the turn-based system, and there are two switchable characters such as Felt and Viese.
