In the game, the player steps into the shoes of the protagonist, a commander of a team of army Rangers deployed into Somalia during the brutal incident in 1993, Black Hawk Down. The main job of the player is to make his way through the fortified villages, towns, oil tankers, etc. infested with rebels’ intent on smashing any the United States presence in the area. In the game, the player controls his squad with several commands such as a cease-fire, hold position, and engage.
