Throughout the game, the player takes on the role of a protagonist named Ethan Cole and faces multiple adversaries in an alien world. The player uses various weapons to defeat their adversaries, where most of the weapons are one-handed.
The game also has dual-wield weapons such as the Shotgun and the Sub-Machine Gun. Each weapon has two modes of firing, the first as a primary method, while the second contains much power level that upgrades through virtual accuracy. The player can also use explosive grenades for huge damage. The protagonist can replenish health either through medical syringes or by using parasites.
