The plot is set five years after the event of Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, and saves many of the settings, including enemies, characters, and music from the previous entry. The main natural resource of the game is Spirit Stones, and the game is about the future of Humans and Deimos. The game uses the real-time battle system, instead of a tactics-based system and online feature of the game supports up to eight-player playing in a 4v4 deathmatch. Torment: Tides of Numenera is a video game of Role-playing and serves as the spiritual successor to the game Planescape: Torment, released in 1999. The game comes with Single-player mode only and takes place in the fantasy campaign setting called Numenera. According to the story, the world has left in the rough state after the fall of countless civilization. Most of the human lives in the settlements, surrounded by relics. There are different playable classes available such as Wizard, Warrior, Rogue, etc. and the player needs to select one of them to start his quest to rescue the humanity.
