#1 Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a Role-playing and Single-player video game developed and published by Square Enix for Multiple Platforms. The game serves as a title in the long-running series of Dragon Quest games, and an enhanced port version of this game is released for Nintendo Switch, titled Dragon Quest XI S. It continues the main gameplay of the previous title in the series, in which the player needs to navigate the worlds and battle against brutal monsters. In the game, the player possesses the unique ability to navigate the high areas. However, the Nintendo 3DS version of this game introduces a varied style to other versions, displaying 3D graphics from the top-down viewpoint and 16bit-styled spirits on the bottom screen. Before partaking in fights, the player can toggle between the 3D and 2D graphics styles at any time. As like with Dragon Quest IX, on the land, the battle system of the game introduces no random encounters and displays all foes on the overworld. The battle system introduces a free-form camera option heavily inspired by the MMORPG Dragon Quest X that enables the player to move across the enclosed fields.
