Ape Out is an Action, Beat ‘em up, and Single-player video game developed by Gabe Cuzzillo and published by Devolver Digital for Multiple Platforms. The game offers exciting gameplay played from a top-down perspective. In the game, the player takes on the role of a gorilla who needs to run through a maze-like environment while evading foes in the form of gun-wielding humans. During the gameplay, enemies who are humans can be easily killed with a single attack and also be grabbed and used a shield to prevent attacks. However, human enemies are fully equipped with weapons that they can use to kill the player as well. The ultimate objective of the player is to escape each level and murdering enemies to advance. In the game, the maze design is randomized and is bit different each time the player gets into it, making the design of each level impossible to memorize.
