Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is an Action, Adventure, Survival, RPG, Indie, Open-world, Simulation, and Single-player video game offered by Panache Video Games. During the gameplay, the player needs to survive by controlling the members of the primate clan in the Africa Jungles and facing critical situations.

The player has to complete the character’s health by sleeping, drinking, and eating at regular intervals. The game takes place in the jungle of Africa with a lot of Machairodus, Crocodylus, African Rock Python, African Buffalo, and more dangerous animals. The player can run, jump, and climb on the tree, but when the player falls, the bones break. As the player advances, unlocks the new areas, the mode of survival becomes hard.

The player can use herbs to recover the wounds, leaves to make a sleeping bed, cut woods to fire the place, and discover food items in the horror of the jungle. If the character dies, the player can select another clan member to continue the game, and if all the members die, the game restarts.

When the clans grow up, the player can switch to other characters, such as an elder, an adult, a mother looking after her child. The player can call all the members to hunt an animal for food, gather woods, etc. The gameplay is quite lengthy but full of adventure and real-time gameplay.
