In the game, the player takes on the role of the protagonist named as Alundra, who is a young boy. According to the story, the player has an ability to enter the dreams of the people. The player finds himself on a strange Island due a shipwrecked, near the beautiful village known as Inoa, where the people are suffering from nightmares, causing death. With the dream walking ability, the player must struggle to assist the people and save them.
