The game combines the elements of Platform and Side-scroll, and it takes place in an Ancient Greece and centers on the protagonist, who is re-alive by Zeus to rescue his beloved daughter named as Athena. The protagonist can turn into beasts such as a werewolf after getting power-ups. You act as the protagonist, and your character can kick, jump and punch. Up to two players can play simultaneously. Your ultimate task is to navigate the environment, fight against undead creatures and monsters and score as many points as possible. It has a variety of levels, and each level offers challenging gameplay. You must collect power-ups to enhance your abilities and fight against enemies and their bosses to become the master. Splatterhouse 2 is an Action, Horror, Beat ‘em up, and Single-player video game developed by Now Production and published by Namco. The game serves as the sequel to Splatterhouse and brings enhanced visual details, mechanic, and smooth controls. It continues the story three months after the events of the first game. According to the plot, the Terror Mask appeared against after breaking the first title, and ask the protagonist to go back to him home, telling the news that Jennifer (the protagonist’s wife) doesn’t have to die. After that, the protagonist succeeds in saving his wife and the house of the protagonist sinks into the river. It offers the similar gameplay to the previous title, and the player controls the same protagonist through eight challenging stages from a side-scroll perspective. The moves and the attacks of the player remain unchanged, and the player can run, jump, punch, slide kick, jump, kick, and use several weapons his way through challenging levels to take down enemies. Each level offers a boss at the end, and the player must defeat the boss to move to the next level. With addictive gameplay, superb mechanics, and smooth controls, Splatterhouse 2 is the best game to play.
