Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships is a Role-playing and Single-player video game created by Akella and published by Playlogic. It serves as the sequel to Sea Dogs, released in 2000. The game takes place in the Caribbean, where the protagonist struggle to forge destiny in the role the captain, selecting different approaches to obtain fame and fortune. There are various character classes such as Merchant, a Corsair, and the Adventurer. During the gameplay, the adventurer must explore the seas and land to find hidden treasures and revealed mysteries. The player finds fortune by taking down ships and demolishing cities. The merchants in the game can purchase and sells good at different cities in the Caribbean, while completing a series of objectives to advance through the game. Jan Stance, Peter Blood, and Diego Espinoza are playable characters in the game from which the player can select his favorite one. Flotilla lets you issue three man types of orders (Attack Move, Flank Move and Focus Fire) to your fleets and reverse the enemy attacks by engaging at the right time and attacking at the right place. In the start, Flotilla allows you to have only two ships, but as the time passes, you can have more ships in your fleet by simply visiting the game shop and upgrading to a number of desired ships while remaining in the limit to spend your resources and rewards. Single player mode of the game allows you to go exploring the world, engage in epic enemy encounters and enjoy the game-play even more.
