Advent Rising is a perfect blend of Third-person Shooter and Action-Adventure gameplay elements developed by GlyphX Games and published by Majesco Entertainment. The game offers a thrilling storyline starts with the main character named Gideon Wyeth, escorting a team of human ambassadors from the space station to a meeting with an alien race known as the Aurelian. During the meeting, the aliens inform the humans that they keep an eye on them as lords and then warn them of another race of aliens known as the Seekers who intend to take down all humanity. After that, the space station is attacked by the Seekers, an alien race. Gideon struggles to manage to board an escape pod and lands on a planet below. On the planet, they help the Marine in their fight against the Seeker, but soon discover that a meteor shower will demolish the planet. The game puts the player in charge of the protagonist with an aim to explore the world and battle against enemies to take down them for points.
