Ace Ventura: The CD-Rom Game is a Graphic Adventure, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game created by 7th Level and published by Bomico Entertainment Software. The game offers exciting gameplay based on an animated series Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. It resembles lots of the Leisure Suit Larry titles in it approaches the adult-style, which is implied but never displayed. In the game, the player plays as an animal-detective, struggling to animals who are in trouble. To complete the objectives the player will travel from Alaska to Bavaria in the comic-style that comprises some action aspect. The interface in the game is very straightforward, and the player makes the protagonist walk around the environment by clicking on the screen and inform him to interact with pointed objects. While playing the game, the player can save the game any time using the watch of Ace. There are several puzzles to complete, some of them are classic and requires to use items on items, but some puzzles are based on action mini-games.
