9: The Last Resort
9: The Last Resort is an Adventure, Puzzle, and Single-player video game developed by GT Interactive. Throughout the game, the player inherits a hotel named The Last Resort, which keeps the story of a deceased uncle. The hotel has nine muses, and as the player enters the hotel, he has to face all the muses one after another.
The player’s goal is to get rid of each muse by completing the offered puzzles. All the puzzles are music-based and required a musical instrument to complete. Nine chapters, each having an evil muse, are waiting for the player. The gameplay focuses on an organ on which the player has to play musical codes assigned.
On each resort floor, the player discovers a code sheet containing instructions for playing a short musical piece. Every sheet extends the code making it more difficult for the player to interpret. In the final puzzle, the player must be familiar with all the played codes. The game has core features such as Nine Puzzles, Nine Chapters, Difficult Challenges, and A Mansion.
