9: The Last Resort
9: The Last Resort is an Adventure, Puzzle, and Single-player video game developed by GT Interactive. Throughout the game, the player inherits a hotel named The Last Resort, which keeps the story of a deceased uncle. The hotel has nine muses, and as the player enters the hotel, he has to face all the muses one after another.
The player’s goal is to get rid of each muse by completing the offered puzzles. All the puzzles are music-based and required a musical instrument to complete. Nine chapters, each having an evil muse, are waiting for the player. The gameplay focuses on an organ on which the player has to play musical codes assigned.
On each resort floor, the player discovers a code sheet containing instructions for playing a short musical piece. Every sheet extends the code making it more difficult for the player to interpret. All through the time, the player plays like a fighter named Gabriel, where the main mission is to fight the dark forces.
Gabriel comes across Ritter Castle in Germany, where his family is currently living. One day, a squad of peasants enters the castle, and the captain tells Gabriel about the terrible death of a little girl. A supernatural wolf has killed the girl and is a big threat to other inhabitants. This investigation brings the player and his companion Grace to a hunter world with dark secrets.
Most of the game is conversation-based, where the player has to interact with the NPCs through texts. The player has to click on the icons placed on the screen to perform relevant operations. Both Gabriel and Grace are available as playable characters either alone or in co-op mode.
#2 Police Quest Collection: Step Behind the Badge
Police Quest Collection: Step Behind the Badge is a compilation of four different games with limitless adventures developed by Sierra On-Line. The included games are Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel, Police Quest 2: The Vengeance, Police Quest 3: The Kindred, and Daryl F. Gates’ Police Quest: Open Season.
Throughout the game, the player serves as a policeman where he has to fight against enemy hordes to protect the city. In the first game, the player begins as a patrol officer has to chase down the infamous Death Angel. In some sections, the player has to drive the car where traffic rules apply to the chaser.
As a promoted officer, the player has to arrest the drug lord named Jesse Bains in the second game. The graphics are better than in the original game, but the gameplay remains the same. The player can move to a place in the scene using the directional keys. The third game offers the player to investigate linear murder cases that are committed by one person, bring that person to light.

Decay – Part 2 is an Adventure, Horror, Puzzle, Interactive, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game developed by Shining Gate Software. Throughout the game, the player plays as Sam, an addicted guy, who gets stuck in an endless nightmare while kicking off his addiction. It is an addictive game as the player has not to follow the encountering missions.
The game has three chapters where the player has to make progress by completing all the required tasks. The amazing sound and brilliant graphics of the game are the most addictive features. In every chapter, the player faces different riddles and challenges. The game has many achievements where the player must gain all the rewards by getting to advance.

The player can find out which locations are important to make sure of the progression. In some cases, the player finds artifacts that can be mailed to New York.

Throughout the game, the player controls Curtis Craig, who works at a pharmaceutical company and sees gore or receives odd e-mails like offering him a job as a murderer in hell.
The player’s mental satisfaction level is completely disturbed, and he has a regular visit to a therapist. Soon the player discovers that his father was working on a project at Wyntech, the same company where he is currently working. The game has multiple locations where the player interacts with different people. While inspecting the game world, the player views the environment from the third-person perspective.

Throughout the game, the player controls a female protagonist named Riana Rouge, whose boss has fired her as a secretary. The player has not to say good-bye, so she has offered the boss to work as a sexual model for the company.
The player soon discovers herself in a magical dimension where she has to travel through three different worlds and find three jewels needed to defeat a mysterious dictator. As the player makes progress, the player also discovers live actors and different backgrounds. The game has to solve mysteries, and behind every mystery, there is conversation-based progression.
The player has to prompt to every puzzle through emotionally charged responses utilizing a device called Emotivator. This device has different colors on every expression. The game takes the player to the future where the United States is in the control of a fascist theocracy that can send the criminals and sinners to hell and bring them back. Gideon Eshanti and Rachel Braque are the two loyal agents of a law enforcement agency. The player can play either with Gideon Eshanti or Rachel Braque and lead the character through the puzzling story. The character does not matter as it has no effect on the puzzles but can alter the game’s end.
The player must acquire supporting party members throughout the game, where everyone comes with a separate small inventory of items. If the player replaces a party member with a new one, the replaced party member will take all his items with him. Each time, the player has to recruit party members by visiting the spot in the game’s menu.
#12 Noctropolis

During the game, the player assumes the role of the protagonist named Peter Grey, who is a bookstore owner and winds up in the world of his favorite comic book. In this point-and-click adventure, the player needs to collect information and help the character make progress.
One night, Peter receives a package that eventually transports him into the Noctropolis, a city of secrets. Five deadliest arch-villains decide to gang up on Peter, mysteriously released from incarceration. The player has to find out who released the criminals and must stop them from wreaking havoc across the city of Noctropolis.

The player has to overcome the obstacles to advance the story. The game has a verb-based interface that shows up on the screen if the player right-clicks on the screen. Many conversations and cut-scenes are displayed inside a smaller screen of the main console.
